Responsibilities:
• Product development for test and measurement instruments
• Specification and design of digital hardware (circuit diagrams, schematics and functional descriptions)
• Close cooperation with the design teams during the design and definition phase of the instrument
• Support and supervision of the PCB design and layout
• Prototyping and testing of the designed hardware modules including the development of necessary test software
• Integration of the hardware into the final form factor
• Organisation for the manufacturing transfer and support and device maintenance
Requirements:
• Master’s/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications
Engineering with focus on Communications or Digital Signal Processing
• Relevant experience working on complex digital hardware design, especially for PCB’s using general purpose processors, FPGAs and DSPs in high-speed, multirate and multi
clock systems
– Professional work experience in the design of complex multilayer PCBs (e.g. full HDI technology)
– Very good knowledge of semiconductor technologies and electrical and mechanical components
– Professional work experience in network technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP)
– Experience in using professional digital hardware design tools
• Knowledge of programming is an advantage
• Independent, flexible and structured, self-motivated and result-oriented Additional requirements for Positions 3 & 4:
• Strong passion for development with problem-solving skills
• Dedicated team player with strong job commitment
• Knowledge of digital and analogue receiver technology will be an advantage
• Will be based in Germany for more than half a year after which occasional travel is a must
