Solving Android app error

I am looking for people to hep me solve a error that I am encounting.
It is a drag and drop method that I am trying to implement in android 2.2 platform.
In this project, there is a side transparent panel. In the transparent panel, there is a scrollable listview which contains icons which I want to drag out and drop in the space that is just beside it.
However, I can only drag the icons out from the side panel, and when I try to drop on the space, it force closes.
If you are selected, I will send you the source code.
